Pushing against the elaborate real estate controversy of the Ace Family, Austin and Catherine McBroom have finally found a place they can home! According to the grapevine, the mega influencers have dished out whopping five figures a month to rent out a $5 million mansion in Toluca Lake, an uber posh neighbourhood in the San Fernando Valley.
If you thought you’d heard the last of the bewildering drama that was ensured with the Ace Family drama, Youtube’s most controversial couple has made the news again.
The ACE Family, which consists of married youtubers Austin McBroom and Catherine McBroom (née Dolores Paiz) and their three young children, famously lost their Woodland Hills mega-mansion to foreclosure late last year as a result of a bizarre and shady plot involving (allegedly) unlicensed contractors, greedy architects, dubious realtors, and allegedly missing certificates of occupancy.
But if you believed that a significant and widely publicised foreclosure would force this family to move, you’d be wrong. The McBrooms proudly displayed their brand-new rental home in a very private YouTube video in December, which has since amassed 4.2 million views and almost 10,000 comments.

A Little Insight on What Happened!
After denying the rumours for months, YouTube’s notorious ACE Family, which consists of the married couple, Austin McBroom and Catherine McBroom (née Dolores Paiz) as well as their three young children, finally acknowledged losing their California mansion to foreclosure.
The McBrooms made an hour-long YouTube video in late November explaining the circumstances that led to their purchase of the problematic property and eventual default on it. According to the couple, a group of dishonest individuals, including a questionable architect, an unlicensed contractor, and even their own realtor, “screwed [Austin and me]” out of “millions of dollars.”
Although it has received a distinctly wide range of responses, that video went viral and has since amassed nearly 4.5 million views. Although the McBrooms’ devoted followers stood by them, other YouTubers as well as creators were much harsher, posting spoofs and gathering proof to refute some of the family’s puzzling claims.
The vacant home is now available for purchase at a foreclosure sale, most likely because the lenders want to make some money back on their losses. There are many issues with the mansion, despite the current listing’s brave avoidance of any mention of them. The McBrooms were more than happy to document all the construction flaws in their video.
The family claims that there are numerous water leaks, irregular and inadequately grouted floors, and a pool that is completely dry. Additionally, Catherine asserted she was forced to “give my babies cold baths” for a prolonged period of time because the Ace Family house lacked gas and hot water. It’s unclear how or when the problematic situation was resolved.
McBroom’s New House
According to our real estate sources, Austin as well as Catherine McBroom have already been paying $20,000 per month to rent the 5-bedroom house.
The 4,900 square foot newly built farmhouse has a pool, a home theatre, and leather recliners. In addition to the firepit in the covered lounge next to the pool, the family room, living room, and main suite all have fireplaces.
A walk-in closet, a spa shower, a private deck, and a balcony are additional features of the main suite. and the Ace Family house has the most modern built-in technology.
The ACE family enjoys the change of pace provided by renting a multi-million dollar mansion. After all, Austin and Catherine once owned a massive Woodland Hills property, but it was sold to Alan and Alex Stokes in 2021 after going into foreclosure.
Stephen Sweeney from The Beverly Hills Estates served as Austin and Catherine’s real estate agent, and Craig Strong of Compass is the agent that handled the home’s listing at the moment.
Set in White!
The formal living room, matches the aesthetic of the entire Ace Family house which is entirely set in white and beige. The room has a huge white couch and big windows to let the sun in, pretty green plants add a pop of freshness to the room. A black and white carpet complies well with the light tones of the room, but still adding a little of dynamism and colour. A Beautiful Brazilian wood center table adorned with a glass top sits on the top the carpet in the middle of the room. The Ace Family sign, a gift from the fans in 2018 has been displayed beautifully, with the ‘M’ slightly broken which the couple, jokingly in their new video remarked that it aptly represents their broke situation.
A Cosy Affair
In cohesion with the Ace Family House, the home theatre at the Ace Family House matches the white and beige tones of the house. Not as extravagant as the last home theatre in the last Ace Family house, the couches laid out in this theatre are the same as before, big and white, as warm as a hug! Warm, grey textured accents on the wall add to the cosiness of the room. It appears to be the perfect place to cuddle with the family while you watch a Pixar movie on the screen.
Breaking Bread in the Dining Room
The dining room follows the same neutral colour scheme as the entire Ace Family house, with beige walls, big black windows to let the air and sunlight in. Enhancing the neutrality of the white and beige tones of the Ace Family house, Austin and Catherine in their new home ordered for a beautiful white dining table and white dining chairs with black rims. A grand, yet modern, gold chandelier illuminates the room and following the pattern of breaking the neutral monotony with a pop of green, the dining room too has beautiful plants bringing the outdoors in.
Kitchen- Where the Magic Happens!
Welcoming the Kitchen with an open pantry, the kitchen too has white and beige tones where in the cupboard and shelves are all pristine white and wooden rims matching the beige wooden colours. The countertops match the white house but the black granite marble island, with white spces all across the marble. A beautiful moon shaped chandelier on top of the kitchen island, is a point of attraction on its own. When lit, the light makes the ceiling sparkle like the night sky. A big grey fridge to feed the family of five and brown wooden chairs surrounding the island complete the kitchen.
The Snug Lil Corner!
Adjacent to the kitchen, the Ace Family’s living room is an extension of the neutral appearance of the Ace Family house. Pearly white walls, with a pristine white sofa and a brown and beige accent wall that showcases the TV and the fireplace, are a reflection of the hues used in the entire Ace Family house. The fireplace seems like an extension of the kitchen, with the same black and white granite marble as the kitchen island. The coffee table in the room is a special one, as it was ordered from Africa and is made up of one thousand wood chips. A jute ottoman next to the coffee table, adds a touch of rustic cosiness. The white shelves, rimmed with beige edges, mimic the rest of the Ace Family house and the accents used.
Elle & Alaia’s Pretty in Pink Girls’ Room
An extension of the Ace Family house, the girls’ room is also painted in cream and beige tones with a white chest of drawers and a white bunk bed. Adding a tranquil pop of colour, the girls’ sheets are light pink in colour, and a horde of pillows makes the already warm room look more comfortable. A big TV that both girls can see from their respective beds, a white mirror, and a cow print armchair make the room perfect for little girls. A big black window makes the room look bright and sunny as it allows ample sunlight to enter the room.
