ARC Electric, a specialist in electric vehicle transportation, has joined forces with Aon plc, a global professional services firm, to drive sustainability in the realm of employee transportation. The collaboration aims to integrate electric vehicles (EVs) into Aon’s operations in India, significantly reducing the company’s carbon footprint and advancing its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.

Under the partnership, ARC Electric will replace traditional fossil-fuel-based cabs with electric vehicles, ensuring environmentally friendly transportation solutions for Aon employees. This initiative will be implemented across major cities in India, starting in the first quarter of 2024.
During the initial phase of January to March, ARC Electric provided Aon with EV cabs, covering an impressive distance of around 80,000 kilometers in total. The electric vehicles saved an estimated 12,000 kilograms of carbon emissions, equivalent to preserving 462 trees.
