India’s largest flexible workspace solutions company, Awfis, has opened its third and largest centre in Bhubaneshwar. Spread across almost 1 lakh sq. ft, the new centre is strategically located in the Odisha Technology Centre, Anand Bazar. The inauguration ceremony was held with the presence of the Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik.
Attracting Fortune 500 Clients
Awfis has designed, built, and managed this new centre specifically for two leading Fortune 500 companies specializing in Information Technology services and Consulting. One of the clients, which already has Awfis spaces in Indore, Jaipur, and Nagpur, has expanded in Bhubaneshwar with a five-storey space spanning more than 46,000 sq. ft. The other client has chosen Awfis for their first space in a tower adjacent to the previous client, consisting of a six-storey office covering around 50,000 sq. ft. The managed office space offers various amenities including meeting rooms, collaborative spaces, recreational areas, a cafeteria, and workstations. It has been carefully customized to meet the specific needs and preferences of the clients, with contemporary and cutting-edge interiors that reflect their cultures and brand ethos.
Inspired by Odisha’s Heritage
The design ethos of the new Awfis centre draws inspiration from Odisha’s rich heritage. Elements such as classical dance, picturesque beaches, and the iconic Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, have influenced the design. Additionally, the space incorporates traditional Odisha art forms like Pattachitra coconut paintings and hand-painted wall sets. The selection of colors also takes cues from Bhubaneshwar’s historical monuments, beaches, and verdant mountains, evoking the natural beauty of the city.
