Viewing Bhunaksha land details online in Haryana
Bhunaksha HR land details can be easily viewed online. The procedure for online land record checking is as follows:
- First go to http://jamabandi.nic.in/ and then use this portal for viewing all information related to land.
- Once you are here, you can choose Jamabandi Nakal from the given list on the top and this will open up another menu. Select the relevant option given in the list and search by Khasra number or the name of the owner.
- Once you have chosen the option, you will be sent to another page. You can choose the Khasra number in the drop-down menu.
- On the new link, you can select the village, District and the Tehsil. After selection of the same, simply click Submit.
- Enter Khasra number for the new page and then hit Submit for viewing all vital details which will appear on a new page. This format enables printing as well.

- Proof of Ownership- Jamabandi FARD or certified original sale deed copy or assessment of Mutation or MC.
- Identification for parties- Ration Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License or Aadhar Card.
- GPA verification will be required in case of registration through power of attorney.
- NOC will be required from the DTP if the area has been notified under Section 7 (A) of the HDRUA Act of 1975.
- Two witnesses will have to provide identity proof of the parties involved.
- The map plan, layout and description of immovable property will be needed.
- The digital photograph of the building or plot will also be required.
- The Virasat mention will be needed or release deed for ancestral property identification.

Bhunaksha has made it possible for States like Haryana to implement validation of advanced shape files. There are detailed reports showing comparisons between areas of polygons and plot numbers in the digitized ROR database and shape files.
More about Bhunaksha
Bhunaksha was an initiative by the Government of India for implementation of the scheme at the Centre known as NLRMP or National Land Records Modernization Programme along with the schemes for computerization of land records or CLR. This has been taken up by the Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development. The programme aims at completely modernizing land record management along with lowering overall scope of disputes relating to land, enabling greater transparency for maintenance of land records and also enabling an eventual shift towards guaranteed and conclusive land titles for all India-wide immovable properties.
The key aspects of this programme involve land record computerization along with integration of all spatial and textual records along with mutation, re-survey and survey and also updating all settlement and survey records which include creation of the original cadastral records whenever it is necessary. This also covers registration computerization, developing core GIS and overall building of capacity. The whole system covers land mapping, enabling extensive cadastral mapping solutions, digital verification and records of rights (ROR) along with updation of data throughout the development process.
Bhunaksha is the software programme for cadastral mapping that has been created by NIC with open source libraries and applications for enabling better digital cadastral map management. There is full customization and abilities of integration for Bhunaksha with existing land records applications of States which cover data in the textual form. The Bhunaksha application has inputs and pre-procedures including the digitization, scanning and verification of these cadastral maps as well. Bhunaksha also covers the ROR databases with varied implementation of interfaces for various Indian States on the basis of changing ROR databases for a particular State.
