Shah Rukh Khan
SRK or King Khan, as his legions of fans know him as, is one of the most astute entrepreneurs, businessmen and investors in Bollywood. He is not only the owner of Red Chillies Entertainment and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) along with being a stakeholder in Kidzania, but also holds a massive real estate portfolio. As per reports, Shah Rukh Khan’s massive bungalow Mannat, with its 6-storied annex building, in Bandra Bandstand, is worth at least Rs. 200 crore or more! This is one of the most iconic and luxurious homes in the entire country.
Shah Rukh Khan also has a posh house in London along with a stylish villa named Jannat in Dubai. He has also been a part of real estate ventures in Dubai with his wife Gauri Khan. He also owns a sprawling villa in Alibaug which doubles up as his quick get-away from Mumbai. Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly invested in a swanky New York apartment as well, where his daughter Suhana reportedly stays in the Big Apple (where she is studying). Akshay Kumar
Currently the richest actor in Bollywood in terms of his fees for movies (some say it is in the range of Rs. 100-150 crore per movie), Akshay Kumar is also one of the highest-paid actors in the world! Khiladi Kumar has always had a thing for real estate. His primary residence in Mumbai is at Juhu, with its impressive décor, a stylishly decked up outdoor garden zone and an irresistible view of the sea. This sprawling apartment aside, Akshay Kumar reportedly owns several other properties in Mumbai along with a whole hill in Toronto, Canada.
He also owns two apartments and a lavish bungalow in the Canadian capital along with a gorgeous holiday home in Mauritius. He also has a holiday home in Goa where the family often jets away from Mumbai. He also has four apartments in Andheri which he purchased together while recently buying another 1,878 sq ft apartment in the Joy Legend building in Khar for a whopping Rs. 7.8 crore. Salman Khan
Bhai is an ardent investor in real estate. Salman Khan still lives in his original family home at Galaxy Apartments. While his family occupies the first floor of the building, he has a ground-floor 1 BHK apartment which he shares with his pets. However, his flagship property investment is his farmhouse in Panvel. This sprawling property covers a whopping 150 acres with three lavish bungalows, a gymnasium, swimming pool and many other attractions.
Salman Khan also has sizable real estate investments in Mumbai according to reports. He has already invested in a triplex apartment in Bandra which he reportedly bought for Rs. 80 crore. He has also purchased a farm of 100 acres in Gorai, where he is building a plush 5 BHK property. Reports have also highlighted that Salman Khan is planning to build similar farmhouses throughout North-Eastern Maharashtra. The Khan family also owns a few apartments in Dubai.
Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik Roshan shifted out of his luxurious family home in Mumbai to a beautiful sea-facing Santorini -themed property at Juhu. This apartment has several attractions including a monkey bar, chocolate vending machine and more. And that is not all; Hrithik Roshan recently purchased two mega-sized apartments in a building named Mannat at the Juhu-Versova Link Road. One of them is a penthouse covering 38,000 sq ft and it covers the 14th, 15th and 16th floors of the structure. This duplex penthouse offers unrestricted Arabian Sea views with an open terrace and exclusive elevator as well. There are parking spaces for ten cars and he has purchased this 27,000 sq ft duplex for Rs. 67.5 crore. He also bought another apartment in the same building for Rs. 30 crore.
Hence, factoring in stamp duty, he spent close to Rs. 100 crore on his mega-realty deal. Hrithik Roshan also owns a farmhouse spreading over 7 acres in Lonavala. Hrithik Roshan does not only have a huge bungalow here (which is a 4 BHK unit as per reports) but also a swimming pool, gymnasium and more. The property covers 5-7 acres while having its own organic farming garden as well.

Ajay Devgan and Kajol
Ajay Devgan is another seasoned real estate investor who is known for some smart acquisitions. He purchased a new bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai, for roughly Rs. 60 crore in the recent past. The new bungalow covers 590 square yards and is situated in the same lane as his current bungalow Shivshakti. The new property was originally priced at Rs. 65-70 crore as per reports. Ajay Devgan also invested in a lavish bungalow for Rs. 54 crore in London as per reports. It is reportedly located in Park Lane, making him a neighbor of Shah Rukh Khan in London.
The couple also owns an apartment in Powai which Kajol rented out sometime earlier for approximately Rs. 90,000 per month and a security deposit of Rs. 3 lakh as well. The property covers 771 sq ft on the 21st floor of the Hiranandani Gardens Atlantis project. Ajay Devgan has long been bitten by the farmhouse bug as well. He owns a sprawling 28 acre property named Devgan Farms at Karjat near Mumbai. This is where he has set up an organic farming passion project, growing fruits, vegetables, grains and more.
Suniel Shetty
Suniel Shetty has always been passionate about real estate and is one of the earliest big-time investors in the sector, not just as a buyer but also a developer. He first set up a successful hospitality business and then forayed into the realty sector. His company S2 Realty and Developers Pvt Ltd has developed several luxury properties including holiday and luxury homes in Khandala. This is Suniel and his wife Mana’s dream Discovery Khandala venture with luxury holiday homes. The actor has several plots in Goa where he has developed affordable beachside homes.
One of these properties has reportedly been purchased by ace cricketer and present Indian ODI and T20 Captain Rohit Sharma. Suniel Shetty is also planning to develop homes in Mangalore which is his birthplace. He lives in the luxe housing project named Prithvi Apartments at Altamount Road. He lives in a spacious apartment covering 2,000 sq ft in carpet area. He also owns a second holiday home at Khandala. The property is picture-perfect, amidst verdant greenery and a water body along with an infinity pool. He has also transformed a little spring into a dam for greater self-sufficiency for his forest-themed home.
Amitabh Bachchan and Family
Amitabh Bachchan, his wife Jaya Bachchan and son and daughter-in-law Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, are major property investors. The Bachchan family owns an enviable line-up of properties not just in India but also worldwide. They have 5 bungalows in Mumbai. The primarily reside at Jalsa, which is valued at more than Rs. 110-115 crore as per reports. The family also owns another bungalow covering 8,000 sq ft behind Jalsa. This has extended the overall area of their primary property. Janak is another bungalow which is the first home that the superstar purchased for his family. It is located near Jalsa and the family mainly conducts its official work here. Amitabh Bachchan reportedly has a lovely workstation here.
Prateeksha is the bungalow where the superstar used to stay with his parents. This has a huge garden where the entire family loved sitting together. This home was first purchased in the year 1976. They also own the Vatsa bungalow which is leased out. The ground floor of the Ammu and Vatsa bungalows are leased out to SBI for 15 years for a rental amount of Rs. 18.9 lakh per month. They are both located next to Jalsa. Amitabh Bachchan has purchased another 5,184 sq ft property in Andheri West, Mumbai, for a whopping Rs. 31 crore. The unit covers the 27th and 28th floors of the building and has six car parking slots. This is the Atlantis project by the Crystal Group.
The family has a holiday home in Dubai which Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan purchased sometime earlier. The family has an apartment in Gurugram along with a property in Bhopal. Amitabh Bachchan has a luxurious apartment in Paris which was reportedly gifted by Jaya Bachchan earlier. The holiday home in Dubai is located at Jumeirah Golf Estates and is a lavish villa with several amenities. The family also has its ancestral home at 17, Clive Road and this has become an educational trust. Amitabh Bachchan also has two apartments which are situated in Juhu that are reportedly valued at close to Rs. 40 crore.
