Thanks to the efforts of the double engine government, air connectivity in Uttarakhand is continuously improving.
Boost to Tourism and Connectivity
The commencement of these air services will not only enhance transportation convenience but also give a new direction and momentum to tourism in the state. Uttarakhand, with its natural beauty and spiritual destinations, is a popular choice among travelers from across India. The introduction of these flight services will further facilitate tourism and allow more people to experience the wonders of Devbhoomi. During his interaction with passengers traveling to Ayodhya, the Chief Minister extended his wishes for a safe journey amidst the chanting of “Jai Shri Ram.” This reflects the religious significance and emotional connection people have with Ayodhya, which is now more accessible through this air service initiative.
Air Connectivity to Pithoragarh and Heli Services
Apart from the newly initiated flights from Dehradun to Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Amritsar, the state of Uttarakhand had also previously introduced other air connectivity options. One such service includes the Dehradun-Pithoragarh route, which has facilitated smoother travel for those commuting between the two cities. Additionally, heli services from Haldwani to Champawat, Munsiyari, and Pithoragarh were also initiated, further improving accessibility to the region.
Gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Civil Aviation Minister
Acknowledging the support and contribution of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia towards the development of air services in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Dhami expressed his gratitude. He praised PM Modi’s leadership and highlighted the unprecedented progress made in various sectors, including the enhancement of air connectivity. In conclusion, the commencement of flight operations from Dehradun to Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Amritsar is a significant milestone for Uttarakhand. It signifies the state government’s commitment to improving transportation convenience and driving the growth of tourism in the region. With improved air connectivity, more people will be able to explore the natural beauty and spiritual destinations that Uttarakhand has to offer. This development would not have been possible without the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. As travelers embark on this new journey, let us hope that it brings joy and prosperity to both the tourists and the state of Uttarakhand.
