CNH Unveils New Global Leadership Team for Agricultural Growth, with Construction Segment Operating Independently

The New Global Leadership Team at CNH

CNH, a leading global manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment, has announced the formation of its new Global Leadership Team (GLT). This team will be responsible for the faster and more effective delivery of CNH’s strategic priorities for long-term growth in the Agriculture segment. In addition, CNH will operate the Construction segment as a distinct business unit with increased autonomy.

A Simplified Matrix and Industry-leading Experts

The new GLT is organized in a simplified matrix structure and comprises industry-leading experts and practitioners from within CNH. These individuals bring intimate in-house and industry knowledge, along with significant experience which will support the company’s strategic execution. The appointments will be effective from August 1 and all team members will report directly to the CEO.

Segment Heads

Gerrit Marx, who recently rejoined CNH, will assume direct responsibility for the Agriculture segment as the CEO of CNH. He will encompass the previous role of President, Agriculture. This move signifies CNH’s emphasis on the importance of the Agriculture segment for the company’s overall growth. Humayun Chishti, who joined CNH in 2002, will become the President of the Construction segment.

Region Heads

Vilmar Fistarol, who has over 30 years of experience with CNH, will serve as the President of North America. Meanwhile, Carlo Alberto Sisto, who joined CNH in 1998, will assume the role of President of EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa). Rafael Miotto, with over 20 years of experience, has been confirmed as the President of Latin America. Luca Mainardi, previously the China Country Manager and Head of Brand Management & Commercial Services in Asia Pacific, will now be appointed as the President of the Asia Pacific region, excluding India. Narinder Mittal will be the President of India, recognizing the strategic importance of the Indian market for CNH.

Function Heads

Stefano Pampalone, previously the President of Construction, has been appointed as the Agriculture Chief Commercial Officer with global responsibility for the Agriculture segment’s commercial strategy, brand, and aftermarket activities. Oddone Incisa, with over 25 years of service with the company, will be the Chief Financial Officer. Jay Schroeder, with over 30 years of experience in R&D, will step into the role of Chief Technology Officer. Carlos Santiago, who rejoined CNH in 2023 after a long tenure with Daimler and Mercedes Benz, will be the Chief Manufacturing Officer and will also assume responsibility for the CNH Business System. Tom Verbaeten, who has been with CNH since 1994, will serve as the Chief Supply Chain Officer. Chun Woytera, currently transitioning from her role as President, Asia Pacific, will take up the newly created position of Chief Quality & Customer Advocacy Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer. Kelly Manley, who joined CNH in 2021, will be the Chief Human Resources Officer, and Roberto Russo will continue as the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, having been with the company for over 35 years.

Internal Audit and Recognitions

The Internal Audit function, led by Glenn Robertson, reports directly to the Audit Committee of the CNH Board of Directors. CNH’s CEO, Gerrit Marx, expressed his confidence in the new leadership team and their ability to deliver world-class products and services that enhance customer experiences. He also emphasized the company’s unwavering focus on quality and the convergence of iron and technology. CNH plans to present its updated strategic plan at an Investor Day early in 2025.
