The newly revamped ITPO complex at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, which will host the prestigious world-class leaders G20 summit, is set to be inaugurated on July 26. The much-awaited Integrated Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC), boasting a sprawling campus of 123 acres, promises to facilitate the national capital amongst world-class destinations for holding exhibitions and events.
According to the reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will likely inaugurate the opening ceremony. The renovated complex has joined the likes of venues such as the Hannover Exhibition Centre in Germany and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai.
With this remarkable structure, India is considered the largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) venue, adding a global stature.

The Pragati Maidan complex comprises a majestic convention centre designed with impressive feats of engineering and architecture. It is ideal for hosting extravagant exhibitions, international trade fairs, conventions, and other eminent events. The centre features innovative rooms, state-of-the-art halls, lounges, an amphitheatre, and auditoriums, fostering economic development and networking opportunities on a global scale.
The multi-purpose halls boast a capacity of 7,000 people, surpassing the capacity of the famed Sydney Opera House in Australia.

The IECC has a grandeur amphitheatre with a capacity of around 3,000 seats, almost equivalent to the splendour of three PVR theatres combined. It provides a striking platform for stage performances, cultural events, and other entertainment activities, enthralling visitors with the ambience.
Additionally, the conventional centre offers ample parking space for over 5000 vehicles and easy access through signal-free roads to the venue without any hassle.
The state-owned enterprise National Building Construction Corporation commences the redevelopment project.
