Tucked away in the hills, Emma has bought this spectacular new mansion that has carved out serenity in the heart of Hollywood. Although Emma intended to design her dream home after selling off her West Hollywood mansion for $5.26 million, the 20-year-old Youtube star went on to buy a 1950’s beauty, i.e., La Benedict Canyon house—a zen paradise in the mountains. 

Emma paid a hefty sum of $4.3 million to get a peaceful location in the heart of Los Angeles, away from the city’s hustle and bustle.

This new residence is an old property, which needs complete renovation before shifting.

Until then, Emma is staying in a mid-century modern house, similar to her original West Hollywood house. Built in 1962, this retro-influenced contemporary low-slung house spreads over 3,000 sq ft. Bedecked in lush greenery, it is designed so that the crystal clear glass walls can capture the bespoke L.A. sunsets. Tall hedges cover the house while ivy shelters the roof, blurring out the white exteriors on the sides.

Most people wonder how a girl who left her high school during her first semester could earn a successful career and immense wealth and fame in such a short period. But this was not an overnight achievement for Emma; the internet sensation has worked hard by following the motivational words of her father, who asked her to “find a passion outside of school”.

Emma used an editing style outlined by zoom, pauses, and adding text to the screen. She formed a sister squad with Youtubers “The Dolan Twins” and “James Charles”. The squad was featured in the Youtube Rewind in 2018 and was nominated for a 2019 YouTube Ensemble Shorty Award. 

Apart from several collaborations, Emma was considered “the most talked-about influencer globally” by Taylor Lorenz, an American journalist. Creating her public image, Emma was listed amongst the 25 most influential people on the internet. She got so popular with her podcasts that one of the reporters stated that “she has invented the way people talk on Youtube now”. 

Emma’s Back!

After taking a long six-month break from her YouTube channel, Emma recently marked her comeback on social media with an 18-minute long video titled “What’s Good in New York.” She started the video by traveling to the local vendors, purchasing a marker and a white signboard where she’s written, “Please let me ask you just ONE question for my cute little youtube video.

Following this, the host of Anything Goes podcast said, “That’s my way of making friends as she doesn’t know any other people and it’s been a long time since she hasn’t really made a friend.” Continuing her video, Emma randomly spoke to some volunteers about their favourite spot to eat in New York. She then stopped by a subway station, visited Times Square, and ran to the top of the Empire State Building whilst affirming, “I feel like I’m Batman” on the observation deck of the structure. At the end of her most recent video, Emma rated her New York video 8.5 out of 10.
