Ghodbunder Road has transformed into one of the hottest real estate destinations in Thane. Ghodbunder was earlier a stretch with a few residential projects and minimal amenities. However, Ghodbunder Road is now the preferred destination for investors and end-users alike. The Ghodbunder Road covers approximately 20 kilometres and links the Western and Eastern Express Highways, two of Mumbai’s most important arterial roads. The road also offers beautiful views of the Thane Creek and Yeoor Hills, going along the Salsette Island’s northern boundary. Ghodbunder Road also runs through forests which are part of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park and also goes beside the Vasai Creek. Leading hospitals here include the Dr. Maheshwari Hospital, Hiranandani Foundation Hospital, Bethany Hospital and the Dhanwantri Multispecialty Hospital. The area is also home to shopping malls like the Korum Mall and Viviana Mall along with offering access to D Mart, Big Mall, Hypercity and Mega Mall. Ghodbunder Road is now a 14-lane road which has 7 lanes on both sides. The metro network will also be built till Kasarvadavli from Chembur which will boost connectivity further here.
