Google Partners with CleanMax to Boost Clean Energy Footprint in India
Global tech giant Google is joining forces with CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions CleanMax, a firm backed by Brookfield, to strengthen its clean energy initiatives in India. This partnership aims to enhance Google’s clean energy footprint in the country and contribute towards its larger goal of reducing carbon emissions across its global facilities by 2030.
Building a Hybrid Clean Energy Project in India
As part of this collaboration, CleanMax will undertake the development of a hybrid project with a total capacity of 125.4 MW. The project will consist of 66 MW of solar capacity in Rajasthan and 59.4 MW of wind capacity in Karnataka.
