The much-awaited Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-2 project has received the official approval of the State Cabinet. In a meeting held on October 26, this ambitious project, estimated to cost around ?24,200 crore, was given the green light. Spanning a length of 76.4 kilometers, the Phase-2 line aims to revolutionize connectivity in the city of Hyderabad.

1. Nagole to Shamshabad: This corridor directly connects the eastern suburbs to the airport, making travel easier and more seamless for residents and travelers alike.
2. Raidurg to Kokapet: This particular line is specifically designed to serve Hyderabad’s prominent IT hub, easing congestion in busy commercial zones and encouraging a smoother flow of traffic.
