• At maximum, the beneficiary’s family can have an annual income of INR 3 lakh.
• The family must be a permanent resident of UP and have the domicile to prove the same.
• The scheme is available for family members with two girl children and not more than that.

• The family adopting a girl child is also eligible to avail of the scheme’s benefits.
• If in case, the mother delivers twins (girl child) at the time of second delivery, then all three will be eligible to avail of the scheme’s benefits.

• Visit the official Kanya Sumangala Yojana portal and from the leftmost section, click on the Citizen’s Service Portal Apply Here.
• You will get redirected to another page enlisting terms and conditions for the Scheme.
• Click on I agree to move further with the registration process.
• Next to this, Kanya Sumangala Yojana online form will appear on the screen.
• Enter the asked details such as applicant’s details, relation with a girl child, residence, and mobile number.
• Finally, click on Send SMS OPT to get your login credentials.

Kanya Sumangala Yojana Apply Online

• Now, log in to the portal through the received ID and password.

Who Can be the Beneficiary?

1. If the scheme applicant is a father or mother, then priority will be given to the mother, and her bank details will be submitted. If she is not alive, then her father’s bank details will be considered.
2. If both parents are not alive, then the girl’s guardian will be eligible to become the beneficiary under the Scheme.
3. If the girl child is an adult, she is eligible to apply for the Scheme and will need to provide her bank details.
