Dubai has been an attraction for a lot of people when it comes to work and business. One of the major decisions implemented by the government in 2016 was selling land to the non-citizens in Dubai under the freehold and long-term lease system. Dubai South has been termed as the “City of You” for luring in people to live, invest and work in the city as was envisioned by the Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This plan has worked pretty well with rising demands of land, other than the high profile area land, for purchase and rent. With more residential apartments coming up in this area there has been a flourish of other social infrastructure in the area as well such as educational institutes, hospitals, shopping malls, movie theatres, recreational areas, restaurants and more. Various new projects have been started in area such as The Pulse, Emaar South or The Villages. Not only that the commercial development of the area has also been on full bloom courtesy the new International Airport, the largest airport in the making, that has been set up in Dubai South which has now been given the nickname of “the new heart of Dubai”.
