In the ongoing G20 Summit 2022, Prime Minister Narender Modi highlighted its stand in the energy and food sector. The summit is currently ongoing in Bali. He also discussed New Delhi’s stand on health and digital transformation sectors.
Modi pointed out nations’ importance in ensuring global peace, stability and harmony. The first stance by the India G20 Summit was taken on the issue of energy and food. He also referred to WW2 and its long-lasting havoc on the world. He reminded everyone about the horrors and consequences of war and referred to it in respect of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine year-long war.
He said that each nation’s economy has already taken 2-step backwards after the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ukraine-Russia war and many other factors. He made everyone remember that now is the right to return to the path of harmony as global supply chains, and human lies have suffered majorly.

He also made a motion in favour of India’s G20 presidency next year. He suggested that India, a land of Buddha and Gandhi, would surely agree to convey the message of peace and harmony. After referring to the pandemic, Modi confirmed that 1.3 billion people are being ensured with food security.
He also pointed towards fertiliser shortage emerging as the next time’s problem on a large-scale. He emphasised fertilisers because they’re a key component in the food-field. He clearly showed his opposition towards shortage or stopping energy supply. As energy is today’s most important living factor, without this super essential element, everyone’s life will turn into turmoil.
Many great leaders of nations globally have gathered in Bali to attend the G20 Summit. He met the newest UK’s newly appointed Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak and US President Joe Biden. They all discussed key pointers for turning the world into a peaceful and harmonious place. And suggested that it is the only way to move towards liveable and sustainable development.
