The Municipal Corporation Of Greater Mumbai, also formerly known as the Bombay Municipal Corporation, is the administrative body of Mumbai. Step 2: In the online services menu, choose cyber CFC.

Step 3: Go to the menu of Health services and select the option ‘birth and death’.

Step 9: After you have filled all the information required, click on ‘submit’. 

If you want to print your application follow these steps: 

Step 10: An acknowledgement with the application number will appear on the screen. You should note the application number for future references. Then, you can take out the print of the application form. 

Step 11: After getting the print out you need to submit the application to the Registrar office of your concerned area. The Registrar office will review and approve the application and issue the birth certificate within a period of seven working days. 

How to Get a Death Certificate in Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai?

If you want to apply for a death certificate through the Municipal Corporation Of Greater Mumbai then you need to follow the given below procedure:

Step 1: Go to the official page of the Municipal Corporation Of Greater Mumbai. 

Step 2: You can search for the death details by entering the registration number or you can also provide the death details. 

Step 3: Click on the search option to get the details.

Step 4: You have to select the details of the death from the list given below and then click on continue. 

Step 5: You now need to provide the details of the applicant such as mail ID, mobile number, address and name. Then, click on the Preview button. 

Step 6: After you have filled in all the details then click on submit.

How to Get a Marriage Certificate in Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai?

You can apply for a marriage certificate through MCGM in both online and offline modes. 

To apply for a marriage certificate in the offline mode follow the given below steps:

Step 1: Visit your nearest MCGM office or the registrar office to get the application form. 

Step 2: Fill the application form thoroughly and make sure that you do not make any mistakes. Paste your passport size photographs in the boxes provided. 

Step 3: After filling the details, submit your application form along with the self attested documents to the respective registrar officer. After your documents have been verified, the MCGM ward officer will provide you a date. You need to be present at the office on the respective date along with your spouse and three witnesses to sign the registered certificate. 

Step 4: The certificate will be signed and stamped in the presence of the concerned officer. You will be issued an original marriage certificate in a period of 10-15 days. 

Please note that the availability of the date for the registration depends on how busy your ward is for the required process. For those who find this process tedious, the MCGM provides the option of online registration for which you need to follow the instructions given below.

Before we begin to explain to you the procedure, you should know that the entire process of getting a marriage certificate is not online. You will have to visit the office of Municipal Corporation Of Greater Mumbai or the marriage registrar office to get your marriage certificate signed and stamped. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Municipal Corporation Of Greater Mumbai and select the path online services. Then go to the marriage registration and then apply here. 

Step 2: You will get a Form D. Fill out this form carefully and upload the required documents. 

Step 3: Now, make the necessary payments to complete the registration procedure. 

Step 4: After you have made the payment, download Form D. You will receive a date on which you would have to visit the MCGM office to sign the required documents. 

Step 5: Visit the office on the issued date with your spouse and 3 witnesses. You also need to carry the documents and the print out of Form D. 

Step 6: Sign all the certificates and documents in the presence of the MCGM ward officer or the Registrar of marriage. You will also have to pay for the registration process. 

Step 7: After your application has been verified, the concerned authority will issue the marriage registration. You will get the certificate within a period of 10-15 days. 

Points to remember: 

• As we have mentioned earlier, the entire process of registration is not online, you will have to visit the office of MCGM. Also, you will not get the online copy of the certificate. You will get the hard copy handed to you physically or receive it by post from the respective office.
• In any case you are required to submit an affidavit for the process, you should consult the advocates. They will provide you with the necessary formats of the affidavit. 
• Make sure that your witnesses are ready and available on the issued date.
• Make sure to keep all the required documents ready and do not be late to the registrar office otherwise your process may be delayed.

The Municipal Corporation Of Greater Mumbai supplies around 3850 million litres of water to Mumbai daily. The supply system of water in Mumbai is monitored by the Hydraulic Engineer Department which is also one of the oldest departments of MCGM. 

How Can you Get the Duplicate of MCGM Water Bill?

To download the copy of your water bill, you need to go to the website https://aquaptax[dot]mcgm[dot]gov[dot]in/ and log in. On the extreme right of the page, you will be able to see a box with the description ‘ Pay/View bills & Download Receipts’. As you can see in the picture below, from the drop down menu choose ‘Download Bills/Receipts’. Enter the CCN number & proceed. 

You will reach the next page. Enter the CCN number on this page and select ‘Duplicate bill’. Select ‘View’. 

You will be led to another page. Select the details option and reach the page where your bill history will be displayed. 

Now, you can access all your details including bill amount, bill date, cycle, additional charges, bill dispute etc. Download the bill by clicking on the printer option which will be visible in the action column. Please note that you would have to allow the pop-ups on your screen to download the pdf version of the bill. 

How to Pay Water Bill Online through Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai

To pay the water bill online you need to login to the official website of the Municipal Corporation Of Greater Mumbai. You will see a ticker running on the top of the page which gives information about Abhay Yojana. Have a look at the image below for the reference. 

Click on the ticker and you will reach https://aquaptax[dot]mcgm[dot]gov[dot]in/. Select the menu option and you will reach the citizen login page. Use your username and password to log in directly. If you have not registered on the website before, you would first have to register yourself through ‘citizen register’. 

Insert the connection number (CCN) & proceed. 

Type the amount as mentioned in the MCGM water bill. Select ‘online’ method of payment and submit. You will get a pop up of ‘Continue for Payment’. Click on proceed. Select the type of payment gateway from credit card, debit card, BHIM UPI etc. and then click on ‘Pay Now’. 

Another method of paying your water bill is through NEFT or SBI VAN transfer. Details related to the payment like the account number and the IFSC code are mentioned in the bill copy. Add the beneficiary and you can pay the bill regularly without any hassle.
