Bacardi NH& Weekender is India’s largest music festival being held in Pune from December 1-3. Renewed for a thirteenth edition, Bacardi NH7 Weekender takes place in Bangalore, Calcutta, Delhi and Shillong, apart from Pune. Hornbill Festival, December 1-10, Nagaland
Hornbill Festival is a 10-day music festival that brings together people from agricultural backgrounds in Nagaland. The festival is sacred therefore, people from all backgrounds are obligated to attend it. The Hornbill Festival is organised by the State’s Tourism Department.
The festival takes place 12 kilometres from the state’s capital in Naga Heritage Village. The festival is celebrated yearly to protect Nagaland’s cultural heritage and the various tribes that reside there. If you visit Nagaland during the festival, you will experience arts and crafts, music, games, food and much more native to the states and its tribes. This year is the 23rd edition of the Hornbill Festival.
Sunburn Festival, December 28-31, Goa
If you are looking for the best EDM festival in India, Sunburn Goa is where you should be at the end of the year. The electronic dance music festival takes place annually for five days in Goa. Sunburn is the Indian equivalent of EDM Festivals like Ultra and Tomorrowland. Sunburn usually takes place in the Vagator. It shifted to Pune for two years, but in 2019, Vagator was designated as Sunburn’s destination.
Alesso, Timmy Trumpet and Charlotte De Witte will be the headlines of Sunburn Goa, 2023. The theme of Sunburn this year is “Enchanted Forest”.
