Important Tasks for the Authority to Address in 2022

The city of Mysore has been carefully curated into a well-accessible space. A major boon for the city and its residents is its connectivity with metropolitan areas like Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Bengaluru. Nonetheless, Mysore has not seen the expected growth and expansion. The tourism aspect of the city was not able to achieve its potential and has been surfing in a toned-down way. Better amenities for the public, long stays, and experimental tourism are a few ways through which Mysore can attain an edge in the tourism department.

It can also attract working professionals from cities like Bangalore. Services like efficient urban transport and the expansion of the city can help in achieving the desired result. The establishment of an international airport can also work to the city’s advantage.
