Hence, the powers that were given to the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1961 were transferred to the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation. And with the order passed by the Government on June 8th, 2007, the 14 villages falling under the Kalyan notified area were removed from the administration of NMMC.

How to Get a Death Certificate in Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation?

To obtain a death certificate, the death needs to be registered first. You must register the death with the local authorities within 21 days of the occurrence by filling a form given by the registering officer. As a first step, the authorities should be informed about the death at the earliest. A death can only be registered by the head of the family, if it occurred in the house, by the in-charge of the hospital, it occurred in a hospital, by the in-charge of the jail, if it occurred in jail, and by the head of the registering office or police if the body is found isolated.

How to Get a Marriage Certificate in Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation?

Apply Offline in Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC)

• The marriage needs to be registered with the registrar of the jurisdiction where both the husband and wife live.
• Visit the sub-registrar’s office 
• You can either download the application form or get one by visiting the registering office
• Fill in all the details asked in the form and the signature of both wife and husband is mandatory.
• Submit the form along with the needed document to the authority and pay the fee

Procedure for Renewing the Trade License Online on the MCD Portal?

• Go to your web browser and visit the official portal of MCD
• From the options appearing on the page, select your zone of establishment
• After selecting the zone, you will be redirected to a different page
• Select the option of Online Services present on the right-hand side of the page
• Click on the option of Trade and Navigation license and select ‘Application for renewal of license’
• A fresh page will open where you need to enter your license number
• When you enter the license number, the status of your license will be displayed
