Real estate markets across Delhi-NCR will be boosted with the development of the elevated corridor connecting Mayur Vihar in Delhi to the Mahamaya Flyover on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. Development is expected to start from January 2019 and should be finished in roughly 42 months as per reports. This will be a 6-lane elevated corridor spanning 5.5 kilometres and will decongest traffic in surrounding zones. The Noida Authority and Uttar Pradesh Government will each pay for half of the entire cost of the project. The feasibility study for this project was first executed back in 2013 although it could not obtain approval due to the lack of the NOC from the Irrigation and Flood Control Department of Delhi. The UTTIPEC has cleared the project after the NOC has been obtained this time around. The elevated road will decongest traffic in localities like Mayur Vihar, Akshardham, Kalindi Kunj, Pari Chowk and Sarita Vihar. It will also go through localities like Noida Sectors 15A, 14A, 15, 18 and 16 before linking to the Mahamaya Flyover. Traffic currently goes through the Dadri-Noida Link Road which is plagued by severe traffic jams throughout the day. This road will be majorly decongested with the development of this elevated corridor. The UP State Bridge Corporation Limited will execute this vital project which should be ready by mid-2022 as per reports. Needless to say, this new development will boost real estate markets in several areas. Prime real estate projects have already come up in areas like Mayur Vihar which is where the Apex Buildcon River View Apartments project is located and several sectors in Noida.
