New Panvel has blossomed into one of the upcoming residential hubs in Mumbai. New Panvel is located in the Raigad District and is one of Navi Mumbai’s regions that has witnessed skyrocketing development in recent years. The Panvel East area falls to the eastern side of the Roha-Panvel Central Railway and Panvel West lies to its western side. Panvel is home to several leading industries like ONGC, IPCL, Reliance, Larsen & Toubro and Hindustan Organic Chemicals. The region is also transforming into a new IT hub with more companies setting up shop here. The area is also home to several educational institutions like the DAV Public School, Pillai’s Global Academy, St. George School and others. Leading hospitals in New Panvel include ONGC Hospital, Shreeyash Hospital and Aayushman Hospital.
