Procedure for Offline Marriage Registration in NDMC
In order to get a marriage registered, the applicant has to visit the concerned Registrar’s office. You are required to fill an application and support it with all the documents to complete your registration process. The procedure for registration is as follows:
Step 1: The application has to be completed and duly signed by both the parties.
Step 2: You will then get a receipt confirming the submission of the application. Once the details have been verified, they will be uploaded to the state records.
Step 3: You will then be required to visit the Registrar’s office again on a scheduled date.
Step 4: On the prescribed date, both the parties have to be present in addition to a Gazetted officer who will act as a witness to the union.
Step 5: The applicants and the witness are then required to sign on the registry to officially register the marriage.
In case of an already solemnized marriage, the marriage certificate will be issued on the same date. In case the application has been submitted before the solemnization of marriage, then the authorities will wait for a period of 30 days so as to allow time for any public objections. Once the 30 days are over, the certificate will be issued.

The North Delhi Municipal Corporation is responsible for collecting property taxes from residents within its jurisdiction. You are liable to pay a tax on any property that you own in the state. Residents of North Delhi are required to make said tax payments to the NDMC. All the properties you own are regarded as falling under property tax law. The taxes are charged annually on the basis of a deadline set by the NDMC. The following are the steps to easily pay property tax through the NDMC portal:
Step 1: You need to visit the official MCD website. Here you need to select North Delhi MCD from the list of options available to you.
Step 2: This will redirect you to a page where you need to click on the box to agree to the terms and conditions and select ‘click here to file property tax’.
Step 3: On this page, you are required to enter your property ID. You can choose to enter your property ID from previous year’s tax payment.
Step 4: If this is your first time filing property tax online, then you need to click on ‘First time online taxpayer’. Then click on ‘click here if property ID has not been allotted earlier’. This will redirect you to a page where you have to enter the required information and click on ‘Submit’. A property ID will be generated and sent to your registered phone number.
Step 5: After you enter the newly generated property ID to proceed. You will be redirected to a new page where you need to enter various details regarding your property ownership.
Step 6: The tax amount due will automatically be calculated once all the details have been entered. Click on ‘Submit’.
Step 7: This will take you to the payment gateway page. Choose your prefered mode of payment and complete the transaction.
