According to the officials, the government is attempting gazette notifications of the merger of PCNTDA, along with PMRDA and PCMC, which has become remarkable history. This was quoted by the CEO of PCNTDA, Bansi Gawli.
According to the issued notification, PCMC would acquire all the leased land, the encroached land and the land stamped for public purposes. The ruling BJP in Pimpri protested the transfer of the reserved and undeveloped land to the civic structure. Although, the PCMC would remain the prime planning authority of the areas under PNCTDA. The officials also say that all the permissions regarding the building construction and approval of TDR-FSI must be taken from PCMC.
The notification clearly states that all the mobile and immobile liabilities and assets of PCNTDA will rest in the state government. This would be initiated via the urban development department and later lodged to PMRDA and PCMC.
Funds, properties, and dues are lodged in PMRDA. The possession and ownership of plots are leased out by PCNTDA. They are reservations and encroached plots transferred to PCMC, plots under public amenities and developed plots. The plot for the government house measures about 2.5 acres to 3.0 acres and has to be transferred to the government at the minimum cost of Re 1. This will be in temporary possession of PMRDA.
