Delhi is a densely populated city, and with population comes housing and residence. To date, there are several unauthorized colonies established in Delhi, and several people live there but are unable to call their house their home yet.
Unauthorized colonies are primarily populated by lower socioeconomic groups who contribute to the national capital’s growth and prosperity. They must be supplied with a clean, secure, and healthy living environment as part of the capital’s physical and socioeconomic structure. Without the security of ownership and the ability to mortgage or transfer properties, no development or redevelopment in UCs can take place.
What is the Pradhan Mantri Uday Yojana?
Pradhan Mantri Uday Yojana is a scheme that the government of India has launched for the citizens of Delhi. It allows the people housing the flat in authorized colonies to get ownership rights by applying online for the same. Pradhan Mantri Uday Yojana online registration in Delhi has already commenced for the people to register for their flats that fall into the unauthorized category. However, a small fee needs to be paid to initiate the process of online registration for the PM Uday Scheme.
As per statistics, more than 35 lakh people living in Delhi will be getting ownership of their unauthorized flats under the Pradhan Mantri Uday Yojana Scheme. Options to take a loan against the house are also available for the residents. Before diving into online registrations, one needs to be well versed and aware of the details regarding the PM Uday Yojna, the process of online registration, and to check for their house in the unauthorized colony list. To guide the people and address any queries during the login process, the PM Uday customer care number has been made available to contact the help desk.
PM Uday Yojna stands for Prime Minister’s Unauthorized Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojna. This has been taken to ease the worries and allow the residents to live in peace and dignity at a place they can call their own.
Numerous questions run in one’s mind when considering online registration. DDA PM Uday Yojna has been launched specifically to resolve these problems. A portal has been developed to execute the registration process, where one can fill an application form for ownership rights in unauthorized territories. At the moment, the implementation of this scheme is of utmost priority to the Delhi Development Authority.
