Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) witnessed a momentous occasion as Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the newly constructed Integrated T3 terminal on March 10. Developed by Adani Airport Holdings, the state-of-the-art terminal spans a construction cost of Rs 24 billion. With the capacity to accommodate up to 4,000 passengers during peak hours, this facility aims to cater to both domestic and international flights.
Phase 1 of T3 to Generate Massive Employment Opportunities
Karan Adani, the Managing Director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, revealed that the completion of Phase 1 of the Lucknow Airport Terminal 3 (T3) project is projected to create job opportunities for around 13,000 individuals directly and indirectly. Upon the full realization of the master plan, the terminal is expected to generate employment for a staggering 40,000 to 50,000 people.
