It mentions, ‘We call ourselves accidental entrepreneurs,” confesses Tanuj. Before this proptech startup (now India’s largest) took its first steps, the industry, Shori claims, was not even a broken-down process. “It wasn’t a process at all.” What has helped bring control and transparency into the real-estate market is the arrival of a regulator. “Rera puts a structure, a platform, in place for the industry to start getting organized,” he explains, adding, “I would put money in Indian real estate just because of RERA.’
