Rishi Sunak declared on Monday that All global leaders have to act fast on climate change because it is the right thing to pursue, as he swore to use 11.6 billion pounds in climate funds as the commitment from the country at the COP27 summit in Egypt.

Rishi Sunak referred to the speech given by the late Queen Elizabeth II at the COP26 last year, she stated there was hope if all the countries came together. He asked the global leaders, can we summon the collective will to deliver them? He believes we can.
The UK Prime Minister also reflected that 90% of countries signed up to net zero targets even during the pandemic when all nations’ economies were broken.

Prime Minister Motley of Barbados also describes the existential threat posed by climate changes or floods in Pakistan, where the area underwater is the same as the entire UK.
Further, RishiSunak stated that when you see 33 million people displaced with illness and spread through water, it is morally right to honour all the promises as it is economically right. Climate security goes right along with energy security as well.
Sunak asked all the nations to honour the promises they made last year in Glasgow and direct public and private finance towards planet protection which would turn all the struggle against climate change into a global mission for new jobs and clean growth.
