RWA Lucknow (Resident Welfare Association) plays the role of improving the facilities and amenities of the city. They are responsible for revamping the conditions of the roads, drainage, streetlights, and water harvesting, and looking into area cleanliness, electricity power and water.
In Lucknow, however, residents have complained about unresolved issues and difficulties that have not been looked into for a long time. With an extra push by the authorities, the Lucknow Development Authority confirms that they will address all the challenges faced by the owners of apartments in Lucknow.

Challenges Faced by the Residents in Lucknow
Multiple apartment owners in Lucknow have complained about numerous issues such as illegal occupation, pending development of Lucknow projects, cleanliness and sanitation of the city, and repairing the streetlights, especially in Jankipuram Extension and Gomti Nagar Extension.
Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) officials have asked RWA Lucknow to create an RWA cell to improve and resolve the issues.

RWA Lucknow at Work
The city officials have taken charge of completing all the pending development projects hampering the city’s growth. Lucknow residents will be relieved as the city management will address their challenges and allow them to live without a hiccup.
RWA Lucknow has been advised to establish an RWA cell stationed with a nodal officer. The officer’s responsibility is to visit each apartment in Lucknow, attend to their needs, and resolve the issues as soon as possible.
To sustain the outlook of the city, the officials of the Lucknow Department Authority have distributed funds to various managements. Rs. 6 crores have been allotted to Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) for sanitation and cleanliness in areas such as Jankipuram Extension and Gomtinagar Extension. While the electricity department is given Rs. 4 crores to improve the working conditions of the streetlights.
Drain installation at the Gomti Nagar Extension approach road is still in progress, and a bid for the project has also been announced.
Furthermore, the Lucknow Department Authority will set up a cancellation board for plots that have resulted in slums. Along with the plantation drive, the authority also offers all residents free saplings.
