The arrival of league cricket has proved to be a boon for cricketers. They are now signing expensive contracts with their respective boards. This has helped them take their lifestyles to an all-time high. Some of them – specifically IPL players –  have invested a large amount in the construction of their plush houses.

Let’s take a sneak peek into the homes of top IPL players:

Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli lives in the most luxurious of the three towers, namely Omkar ‘1973’ Mumbai, by Omkar Realtors and Developers. He spent a whopping Rs. 34 Cr to buy this luxury apartment in the year 2016. Tower C is the most luxurious of all and Virat has a home spread over 7,000 Sq.Ft. The home faces the Arabian Sea.

Pandya Brothers

Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya – the iconic cricketer brother duo – are known for not just their gaming strength but also for their extravagant lifestyles. They have a huge penthouse in their hometown Vadodara, Gujarat. Their family lives in this 6,000 Sq. Ft. penthouse.

Earlier the brothers were living in a temporary flat in Mumbai but now – after making it big in the game – the duo also own a 2 BHK flat together in one of Mumbai’s posh localities Versova, Andheri.

White façade of the house complements the black and white granite surface on the floor. This home is child-friendly in particular. Ample interior space to play, kid-specific indoor games and rounded edges of furniture define how the home is designed around the safety of their baby.

Rohit Sharma

This international cricketer bought a luxury apartment in one of the most affluent towers located in Worli, back in the year 2015. Costing him a whopping Rs 30 Crore, the 6,000 Sq.Ft. 4 BR apartment in Ahuja Towers, is on the 29th level of the luxury high-rise property and offers a breathtaking 270-degree view of the Arabian Sea.

Besides the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, the spacious Ahuja Tower show flat also showcases three standard bedrooms each of which can be converted into a family room, guest room and a kid’s bedroom. For business meetings and a creative work corner, there is a separate study/library room.

M.S. Dhoni

Mahendra Singh Dhoni owns various luxurious properties but his and his family’s favourite has to be ‘Kailashpati’ – a luxurious farmhouse in Ranchi that the family owns. The expansive project – spread over 7 acres of land – took nearly three years to complete and also boasts of an indoor gym and pool.

The interiors – decked with numerous indoor plants – features a mix of light colours such as cream, light yellow, and greys. There is also a separate complex with glass windows, housing the most precious possessions of the famed cricketer, his enviable array of bikes and automobiles, from his Hellcat to the Ninja.

Ravindra Jadeja

Born in a household that struggled hard to make ends meet, Ravindra Jadeja has come a long way. Today, he owns farmhouses spread on huge patches of land and visits them as and when he gets time. He can be seen posting pictures of riding his horses in these farms during his leisure breaks.

One of the highest-paid cricketers in the world currently, Jadeja is fondly referred to as Sir Jadeja by Cricket reporters. The all-rounder has spent a good share of the money he has earned so far – on building his massive 4-storey bungalow in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The massive doors and the vintage design of the bungalow gives it a royal vibe.
