The new mommy in town and actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is enjoying her motherhood journey with her baby boy, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. The actress has been in the news for selling her luxury apartment in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai, for a hefty amount of Rs. 32.5 crores.
Sonam Kapoor purchased this apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex in June 2015 for a staggering amount of Rs 31.48 crore, and the diva sold it for Rs 32.5 crore on December 29, 2022, as per reports.
The Luxurious Apartment and its Perks
The BKC apartment covers an area of 5,533 square feet and is situated on the third floor of an edifice known as Signature Island by Sunteck. Sonam’s apartment has a host of luxuries, including stunning views of Mumbai, a temperature-controlled pool, a health club with a cutting-edge gym, a mini screening room, and beautifully manicured gardens with a play area for kids. According to sources, in addition to these features, the new homebuyer will have the privilege and access to four parking spots within the apartment block.
In Sunteck Signature Island, Sonam reportedly had a duplex apartment with a stunning sea view from the apartment’s balcony. In addition, the new owner paid Rs 1.95 crore in stamp duty for this transaction.
Sonam Kapoor’s Home in London
Sonam divides her time between London and Mumbai with her businessman husband, Anand Ahuja and their August 2022 born baby boy, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. The Neerja actor has a stunning residence and workplace in Notting Hill, London and office space across her residence, which she shares with her husband.
Sonam Kapoor also possesses a property in Delhi on Prithviraj Road, which belongs to her husband, Anand Ahuja and his family. The diva has openly expressed her love for London and how she enjoys living in the city, but at heart, she is still a Bombay girl.
Sonam was last seen in the 2019 movie The Zoya Factor and wrapped up her work before entering motherhood on her upcoming film, Blind, directed by Shome Makhija.
