Statue of Unity Gets Three New Attractions

The Statue of Unity is the tallest statue in the world, standing proudly at 597 feet or 182 m. In Kevadiya, Gujarat – a region noted for its beautifully verdant surroundings – this iconic structure honours the legendary Indian politician Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

When the Statue of Unity, Gujarat, was first revealed four years ago, most people thought it was just a statue in October 2018. But PM Modi had a bigger picture and more challenging objectives. He aimed to make it a well-known tourist destination with activities for visitors of all ages. As a result, more than eight million people have visited the Statue of Unity. Recently opened neighbouring attractions will probably boost local tourism and delight visitors even more.

The Maze Garden

The Maze Garden is the largest maze garden in India and spans three acres of land with a total of 2,100 metres of track. The garden was planned to resemble a Shriyantra. Positive energy is thought to be spread by Shriyantra. A total of 1.8 lakh saplings have also been planted in and around the garden, covering it with incredible greenery.

The Miyawaki Forest

The method developed by the botanist and ecologist Dr Akira Miyawaki of Japan served as the inspiration for the name of this forest. This method results in 30 times denser forest expansion since plant growth is 10 times faster. The Miyawaki approach takes only 2 to 3 years to create a forest, compared to at least 20 to 30 years with the standard method. The Miyawaki Forest will have areas including a native flower garden, a special Miyawaki section with mixed species, a timber garden, a fruit garden, a medicinal garden, and a digital orientation centre.

Ekta Houseboat

The first houseboat service in the region is Ekta Houseboat. Two tastefully equipped bedrooms, a dining room, a living room, an attached kitchen, a front deck, and an upper observation deck are all included in the 90 feet long and 20 feet broad houseboat. The art and culture of Gujarat and Kashmir are beautifully merged in the houseboat.
