Nashik, a district in Maharashtra, witnessed heavy rainfall on Monday, which led to raising the level of the Godavari River overflows. Therefore, various Nashik temples submerged underwater were around the bed of the same Godavari temple.
The reports also suggested that there is a probability for the district to see more dam water later in the city.
Further, the residents living in Nashik calculate the depth of flooding through the level of water that is surrounded by the Dutondya Maruti idol, which is located by the riverside. But at present, the level of water is below the idol’s waist.
