According to official sources, the governing body of the ancient temple of Lord Venkathanams at Tirumala owns an asset of over INR 2.5 lakh crore.

The reason why the asset of the temple is increasing in leaps and bounds is the offering made by the devotees at the Tirupati Temple. The offering is primarily made with cash and gold, Moreover, the temple claims the net value of the fixed deposits in the bank is increasing and generating more income by the interest rates.
The governing body sources disclosed that the raw data of the asset’s value owned by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams might account for more than INR 2.5 lakh crore. The asset owned by the Tirupati Temple by the offering made by the devotees includes cash, gold, buildings, land parcels and so on.
