COVID-19 Restrictions Relaxed in the UAE!
The country’s epidemiological situation was closely observed and researched. It was observed from the occupancy rates in the health centers and hospitals that the number of cases had fallen to under three hundred. The new relaxations will go into effect on 7th November 2022.
In settings, both open and closed, masks won’t be required. However, Mosques in the area and other worship places are not exempted from this. Only in hospitals and other medical facilities will masks be required. All prayer rooms and mosques will allow visitors to pray without using their own mats.
The Period of Isolation Remains the Same as Before!
Additionally, the official declared that no public entrance would require a Green pass. Their Al Hosn application will no longer be used for anything other than providing vaccination proof as needed. The NCEMA or the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority did, however, note that all those who tested positive would continue to spend time in isolation.
All those who received positive results had to stay in isolation for five days while the PCR testing for COVID-19 was carried out. The Health Centers and other unique facilities will keep running as usual. Some of the sporting events may require the participants to go through certifications or pre-examinations depending on the type of sporting activity.
