Dubai is working on building a 1200-mile underwater train to Mumbai, India, with a staggering speed of 600-1000 km/h.
With only flights available to travel to Dubai efficiently, it will be great to have an underwater train running from Mumbai to Fujairah, Dubai. If you fear being underwater, it might be a dicey situation after a bold step taken by the United Arab Emirates by releasing something quite unimaginable. However, whether it’s developing floating cities or adorning the sky with shimmering edifices, Dubai couldn’t resist making another remarkable contribution to humanity.
The National Advisor Bureau of the United Arab Emirates is formulating strategies for the railway infrastructure and selecting an appropriate train model. The objective is to establish an innovative connection between the two urban centres, introducing a novel approach to transportation in the region. This will connect the city from the desert to the sea, creating a biophilic oasis. The journey of 2,000 km will take approximately 2 hours, with the bullet train running at a speed of 600-1,000 km/h.
The latest video showcasing the project’s idea and plan was published on YouTube by UAE and involves a long tube floating just beneath the international waters of the Arabian Sea. The project first surfaced in 2018 as a hypothetical idea, garnering swift acclaim and incurring a substantial cost to materialise into reality.
Renowned for its forward-looking infrastructure and cutting-edge technology, this city is currently witnessing the construction of a bio city. Let us await how the underwater train connecting India and Dubai changes the game!
