UP Govt Begins Registrations for Bulandshahr’s Khurja Industrial Township
The Uttar Pradesh government is taking steps to integrate small cities into its ambitious goal of achieving a one trillion-dollar economy through the Master Plan 2031. One such initiative is the development of the Khurja Industrial Township in Bulandshahr, where registrations are set to begin from November 11th.
Revolutionizing Bulandshahr’s ODOP Market
Positioned approximately 18km away from the upcoming Noida Airport, the Khurja Industrial Township aims to bridge Bulandshahr’s ODOP (One District One Product) market to global markets. This development is expected to bring in significant opportunities for businesses in the area.
Modern Amenities for Entrepreneurs
Spanning across 80 acres, the township comes with a price tag of Rs 430 crore and is being designed to provide entrepreneurs with modern amenities. These include warehouses, workshops, community centers, nursing homes, daycare facilities, weighing machines, and boarding lodges.
Revenue Generation Potential
It is projected that the Khurja Industrial Township will generate over Rs 25 crore in revenue for the authority. Ankur Lathar, the Vice Chairman of Bulandshahr Khurja Development Authority, underlined the importance of this strategic project launch and highlighted its advantageous location on the Delhi-Aligarh GT Road.
Plot and Pricing Details
The township comprises of 82 industrial plots spanning between 500 to 3,500 square meters. The price for each square meter of these plots is Rs 20,000. Additionally, there are nine warehouse plots measuring 5,000 square meters each, priced at the same rate. The commercial sector offers 12 plots ranging from 300 to 2,500 square meters, which are available at Rs 40,000 per square meter.
Advanced Facilities for Entrepreneurs
Understanding the needs of entrepreneurs, the Khurja Industrial Township has been developed to provide a range of advanced facilities. These include a 700-square-meter workshop, a 1,800-square-meter community center, an 850-square-meter boarding lodge, an 800-square-meter nursing home, an 850-square-meter weighing station, and a 600-square-meter daycare center.
Essential Services and Environmental Sustainability
Moreover, the township will offer essential services, including an electric substation, police post, sanitation facilities, sewage treatment plant, fire station, and a waste management center. Environmental sustainability is also a key focus, with a 1,200-square-meter green belt planned within the township.
Registration Process and Reservation
Interested entrepreneurs can commence the registration process from November 11th, with the period continuing until November 30th. In line with Chief Minister Yogi’s vision, 10% of the plots have been reserved for ODOP entrepreneurs from Bulandshahr, engaged in the production of electric insulators, pottery, and sugar, as well as for women entrepreneurs.
