DDA (Delhi Development Authority) is likely to get 25, 000 apartments ready within the next 6 months as per reports. However, not all apartments will have necessary utilities like water connections ready immediately and hence this tally of apartments may be divided into a couple of lots for the next DDA scheme as per reports. This new DDA housing scheme next year will cover 10, 000 apartments in the first phase and the rest thereafter.
This should be welcome news for those looking to land a DDA flat at a comparatively reasonable price in a decent location. As per reports, a new set of regulations will soon be released by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) pertaining to apartment maintenance by owners in the future. There are repair jobs as per the brochure for a scheme, there are day-to-day repairs and other maintenance jobs and also manufacturing defects which are witnessed every 5 years or so as per the organization.
DDA has also confirmed that a traffic study has been conducted for the Karkardooma locality since a 100 storey tower has been proposed, which will be the Capital’s tallest such tower. East Delhi witnesses sizable traffic congestion and hence this study as per the DDA. A plan has already been provided by NBCC and added results should pour in over the next 15-20 days along with a revised plan from the NBCC as well. The DDA will soon sell off several commercial properties via the e-auction route.
