The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and NPCI International Payments (NIPL) collaborated with Lyra, a French e-commerce and payments expert, to Introduce UPI at the Eiffel Tower. This fantastic news, unveiled during the Indian Republic Day reception, brought smiles to the faces of Indian tourists.
This made one complicated task very convenient: Indian tourists can now purchase tickets using their favourite UPI payment method in Indian currency.
