Boisar is a major residential area that is a part of the region encompassing Mira Road and beyond. There are several affordable and mid range projects present in this area. There are several mid stage projects in the area and 1 and 2 BHK housing units are predominantly available here. Leading developers like the Thakur Group and Mahindra Lifespaces have an active presence in the locality. Demand for property in Boisar has always been quite high due to its good connectivity to Virar (45 kilometres) and strategic location along the Western Railway line of the Mumbai Suburban network. The area is part of the Palghar district and is the gateway to the biggest MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation) in Maharashtra, i.e. the Tarapur MIDC.This makes it a popular residential destination for several home buyers. It also offers access to the Tarapur Atomic Station which is the first nuclear power plant of the country. Boisar is strategically located and bridges the gap between Gujarat and Mumbai, which benefits businesses hugely. There are trains stopping at Boisar every fifteen minutes and the MSRTC operates buses here which link to neighboring areas like Nava Khadi, Palghar, Tarapur and Dahanu. Intercity long distance buses are also available till Nashik, Thane, Pune, Shirdi, Kolhapur, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad and many other areas. Boisar is also connected to the local Western railway line of Mumbai and areas like Churchgate, Borivali, Andheri and Bandra.It is believed that access to the Vasai Road will boost connectivity prospects even more in the future and subsequently residential housing demand. Apart from the atomic station and MIDC, there are innumerable industrial units in the area owned by companies like JSW Steel, Tata Steel and many more. The Tarapur Industrial Estate, Additional Tarapur Industrial Estate and other business zones house pharma biggies like Lupin and several textile, chemical and steel plants. The Raymond Group, DC textile mills, D’Decor, Duratex and Bombay Rayon Fashion are all located in the area.Reputed educational institutions like the Deep Global School, Tarapur Vidya Mandir & College, Boisar Military School, Don Bosco School, Atomic Energy Central School and Junior College (I, II and III), C.T.E.S. Leading hospitals and healthcare facilities in and around the area include the Care Hospital, Boisar Nursing Home, Dayal Clinic, TAPS Hospital, Sanjivani Hospital, City Hospital, Dr Patil Hospital, TMRCT Hospital, Om Hospital and Sai Baba Boulevard Nursing Home.Attractions like the Tarapur Beach, Chinchani Beach and the newly created Nandgaon Beach are located in close proximity to Boisar along with several gardens and the Manor Dam. Several planned infrastructure projects are set to change the face of Boisar in the near future. The huge economic activity in Boisar has created innumerable jobs, thereby sparking demand for more housing. Boisar will soon be converted into a municipality (Nagar Palika) and basic infrastructure including roads and water supply is currently provided by the MIDC. There are several shopping arcades and facilities in addition to hospitals and educational institutions. Boisar offers a clean environment laced with natural greenery and lower levels of congestion. Boisar is a preferred housing destination for all those working in the Boisar-Palghar-Dahanu belt. Boisar also offers great connectivity to business zones like Andheri and Malad. Property prices have gone up by approximately 10.04% in the area as per Q3 2015 and average prices stand at around INR 3, 205 per sq. ft. here for the same period. A hospital is close to my area where all the basic medical facilities are available. The metro station is near to my place within 1 km and the auto is connected with the metro from my area.

The supermarket is close to my area within a walking distance of ten minutes. The ATM of the Bank of Maharashtra is also near my place within 500 meters. The only problem with the place is that the bank is far away from my area.
