Camp, commonly referred to as the "Pune Cantonment," is a rising neighbourhood situated in Pune's eastern region. Many military facilities, notably the National War Memorial Southern Command and the Southern Command of the Indian Army, are located in Camp. Among the places around Camp are Swargate, Wanwadi, Fatima Nagar, Koregaon Park, Modi Colony, Mangalwar Peth, and Sangamwadi. Many well-designed residential developments, like the Shastri Apartments, Hermes Palace, Runwall, Gulmohar Flats, and Geeta Society, can be found in Camp. Camp is close to MG Road, one of Pune's most well-known commercial districts.

The Camp area is about 3 km away from Pune Junction Railway Station- Pune's major rail station and Pune International Airport is only around 10 km distant through Pune - Ahmednagar Highway. NH 65, East Street, Koregaon Park Road, Sir Maneckji Mehta Road, and Exhibition Road all lead to Camp Road. Camp is not perceived as desolate because of the bustling retail areas and everyday city activity, and you are free to go about the streets. Camp is a lovely and stunning location. Nearby are all the necessary amenities including stores, hospitals, schools, and colleges. However, for the same reasons, the neighborhood regularly experiences traffic bottlenecking and sometimes chaos. But the pros outweigh the cons. Even the train station is just 3 KM away. It is overall an upscale area with a variety of recreational possibilities.
