Dronagiri is a major residential area in Navi Mumbai and offers several affordable and mid range projects for buyers. 2 and 3 BHK housing units are predominantly available in the area and leading developers like Akshar are highly active in the area. There are several mid stage projects in the area. Dronagiri will benefit from the CIDCO’s Smart City development mission for Navi Mumbai along with other beneficial initiatives like the proposed metro connectivity for Navi Mumbai, development of affordable housing by CIDCO in the area and of course, the completion of the Navi Mumbai International Airport. Demand for property in Dronagiri will go up hugely in the future with better connectivity and the completion of major infrastructure projects including the Airport, to which it is strategically connected. Dronagiri offers hugely affordable housing options for property buyers.Dronagiri contains the Navi Mumbai SEZ which is a major business and commercial hub of the city. The Jawaharlal Nehru Port, one of the biggest and most contemporary ports in the country, is well connected to the locality. Proposed industrial facilities in this node include port based industries, automobile components, light engineering, logistics and apparel, warehousing and electronic hardware in addition to IT, ITeS, KPO, BPO, financial services and software.There are several industries functioning in the area already including Balmer & Lawrie, ONGC Petro Chemicals and others. The BEST and Municipal Transport bus network is highly active in the area and links it to several parts of Mumbai in addition to areas like Thane, Kalyan, Bhayander, Khopoli, Panvel, Dombivali, Uran and Badlapur among others. The Uran railway station lies approximately 1.5 kilometres away from the locality and the Maharashtra State Highway also runs through the locality. The JNPT Road is another major connectivity lifeline and offers access to the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport which lies around 50.1 kilometres away from Dronagiri. Reputed educational institutions like the St Mary’s Convent High School & Junior College, Rotary School, Uran Education Society English Medium School, Native Institute NI High School, Tukaram Hari Vajekar High School and many others are present in the area. Leading hospitals like the Mother Care Hospital, Ratan Hospital, Tungekar Hospital, Dr Nakhwa Hospital, Paleevi Hospital and Sathe Hospital are also located in the area. Several major banks have their branches in the area while the Glomax shopping centre is also present here. The Uran Nagav Beach, Santeshwari Temple and a bird sanctuary are major attractions near Dronagiri. Property prices have gone up by approximately 3.26% in the area as per Q3 2015 and average prices stand at around INR 4, 500 per sq. ft. here for the same period.
