There is huge demand for property in Khandeshwar since it is a prominent residential area in Navi Mumbai. There are several mid range projects in the area and developers like Sun Soman and Geomatrix are highly active here. There are several mid stage projects in the locality while 1 and 2 BHK housing units are majorly available here.Khandeshwar is one of the fastest developing nodes of Navi Mumbai and also has its own railway station that offers access to the Harbor Line of the Mumbai suburban railway network. The Navi Mumbai metro is also accessible from Khandeshwar. Khandeshwar is famous for its Lord Shiva temple which attracts devotees from several parts of the city and country. CIDCO has planned to extend the Belapur-Khandeshwar metro service till Ulhasnagar and Kalyan and this will boost connectivity further in the area. The first phase between the CBD Belapur and Khandeshwar metro stations will be completed soon post which the line will be extended.The metro railway network will also offer easy access to Taloja. Khandeshwar offers great railway connectivity till CST and Wadala. Railway connectivity is the major lifeline for residents of the area. Property prices have gone up by approximately 2.17% in the area as per Q3 2015 and average prices stand at around INR 6, 900 per sq. ft. here for the same period. Popular projects include Geomatrix Silvercrest and many others. The area does face its share of challenges but a lot is being done as well. Proper infrastructural progress will certainly go a long way towards boosting overall housing demand and commercial development in Khandeshwar. Property rates are still quite affordable in Khandeshwar which is one reason for home buying in high volumes by end users and investors alike. With the completion of the metro project and seamless connectivity to several parts of Navi Mumbai and Mumbai, Khandeshwar will get a much needed boost in terms of residential development and associated infrastructure development.

I am a resident of Khandeshwar, Navi Mumbai and I think that it has grown into a proper residential area. This locality has very good route connectivity and it is also very close to the railway station. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport is 38 kilometers away from Khandeshwar via the Sion-Panvel Expressway. Water shortage is however a major concern of this locality.

I used to live in Khandeshwar, Navi Mumbai for work. I loved living here. This locality is very ideal for residential use. It has ample daily need shops and the Orion The shopping Mall situated in Panvel is only 4 kilometers away. There were many good schools in the vicinity of this locality such as Marvel School, Skyminders Preschool, and Little Angel’s School. ATMs and banks are also available in this locality.
