Lakdikapul is an affordable suburb located in the central zone of Hyderabad. Wondering how it got a unique name like this? Breaking this down, you will get 'lakdi' and 'pul'; this means a bridge made of wood in Hindi and Urdu. During the Nizam era, there was a wooden bridge in this area that helped people cross the rail line. The bridge is no longer there but the name became a reference.
