Lohagad is a hill fort located in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, India. The fort is approximately 1033 meters (3379 feet) above sea level and is one of the four major forts in the Sahyadri range.

Lohagad has a long history, with references dating back to the 2nd century CE. The fort was built by Shivaji Maharaj in 1648 CE when he conquered it from the Adil Shahi rulers of Bijapur.
