Mira Bhayandar is a town in the Indian state of Maharashtra that comes under the Municipal Corporation in the Thane district and administered by Mira – Bhayandar Municipal Corporation. 

It is part of the Mumbai Metropolitan region and located on the north side of Salsette Island and shares its border with North Mumbai.
