About Park Street, Kolkata

One of Kolkata's most important arterial roads is Park Street. The actual name of this neighbourhood, Mother Teresa Sarani, has changed throughout the last two centuries, even though it is still commonly known as Park Street.

The park street runs from Jawaharlal Nehru Road to the park Circus 7 Point Crossing. Park Street is the location where many important city routes converge or depart. The Park Street metro station, which is located between Esplanade station and Maidan station, is one of Kolkata's deepest subterranean stations.

Park Street is a fantastic neighbourhood with plenty of 5-star dining establishments, luxurious hotels, lively clubs, and eateries. On the occasions of Christmas, Diwali, and on the Eve of New Year, when the entire road is covered with magnificent bright lights and locals stream out in great numbers to enjoy the festivities with merriment and passion, the street presents itself as a spectacular spectacle worth viewing.

Since the neighbourhood must provide such wonderful amenities, such as the location, surrounding monuments, shopping areas, and dining places, the typical price of apartments is considerably higher; at 15,000 INR per sqft, a 3bhk apartment is estimated to cost between 70 lakhs and 3 crores.  At the same time, apartments with three bedrooms can be rented for an average cost of 40,000 Indian rupees to one lakh.
