ALLODIAL SYSTEM

Allodial System is basically a legal way in which one can claim ownership of a land in fee through exclusive possession. The title first originated in the United States once it was independent from England. The main objective of this title was to allow the defender and holder of the land to claim their ownership rights which were defensible in law. After this many other state constitutions added this law in their jurisdiction. The information present in the allodial system mainly constitutes of the details about the land in question. Along with the cadastral certificate, this is also a very important system that helps determine if a particular property lays in or outside any municipal regulations.

1. Primarily it helps distinguish the property in question in either of the two categories, namely property system and feudal system. Usually the ownership is stated under common law, along with some secondary rights that one can potentially claim under this system.
