FIELD CHANGES

Field changes indicate routine or minor changes or developments which are necessitated by several on-field conditions which are resolved by construction managers and architects, without any design-based ramifications and material-linked costs. Field changes will have to obtain approval by the site representative of the real estate developer or the agency in charge of the project or venture.

Use of Field Changes in Real Estate

Field changes may indicate changes that were made at the time of construction, deviating sharply from the architectural designs, plans, and layouts. At the time of construction, changes sometimes need to take pace. Most projects have a record maintained of changes that have been made on the basis of construction of any building. Any architectural or building plan changes require approvals from supervisory agencies and the authorities. Some of the usual changes include shifting door and window locations, changes in the configurations of roofs, and extra support for specific foundational components, while also changing room layouts which are not suitable. The original designs are contained in the plan and architectural layouts and specifications.
