The only downside of the locality is its flooding issue in heavy monsoons other than that the area is easily accessible from the highway, Paud Road, and DP Road. Additionally, Kothrud is home to multispecialty hospitals like Sahyadri, Deenanath Mangeshkar and Jehangir, which prove to be important factors when it comes to medical amenities.
