Not only does Civil Lines have metro connectivity, but it is also very close to the airport. There are some educational hubs such as Mukherjee Nagar for coaching school and college students. On the weekends the local people mostly spend time watching cinemas in the multiplex, theatres, and hanging out in shopping malls and markets. I used to live in Civil Lines a long time back and it was indeed one of the best neighborhoods except for the fact that it was expensive with parking issues and low-maintenance parks. Pollution was yet another problem I faced. However, it was very good in terms of connectivity and transport.
